Semolina Corn Tikki: Try This Delicious Recipe
Semolina – 1 cup
Sweet Corn – 1 cup
Onion – 1
Capsicum – 1
Grated ginger – 1/2 tsp
Chili flakes – 1/2 tsp
Green chilli – 2
Roasted cumin – 1/2 tsp
Bread crumbs – 1 cup
Oil – for frying
Salt – as per taste
– First of all, cut onion, capsicum and green chilli into fine pieces. Now take sweet corn, put it in a mixer jar and grind it coarsely.
Then add one cup of water in the pan and heat it on medium flame. When the water becomes hot, add semolina, coarsely ground corn, finely chopped onion and capsicum.
– After this, mix 3 teaspoons of oil, chili flakes and salt in it. Then increase the gas flame and keep mixing well so that there are no lumps.
– When the ingredients stop sticking to the pan, turn off the gas. Now keep this mixture aside for some time so that it can cool thoroughly.
After this, knead the mixture like dough with both hands. Now the mixture for tikki is ready.
– Apply some oil on your hands and take the mixture in your hands, give it the shape of a tikki, put it in bread crumbs, wrap the crumbs around it and keep the tikki aside in a plate.
Similarly, prepare tikkis of all the mixture one by one. Now put oil in a pan and keep it to heat on medium flame.
When the oil becomes hot, add semolina corn tikkis as per the capacity of the pan and deep fry.
Fry the tikkis by turning them for 1-2 minutes so that their color turns golden brown and the tikkis become crispy.
After this, take them out in a plate. Similarly, fry all the semolina corn tikkis. Now serve prepared semolina corn tikki with tomato sauce.
