Redmi is preparing to launch its new 5G phone. We are talking about Redmi 14C 5G. The phone has been spotted on many certification sites, revealing the specifications of the phone. According to a report, the TENAA certification platform in China has approved the Redmi phone with model number 2411DRN47C. In June, the name 'Redmi 14C 5G' appeared on the same device in the IMEI database. It has also been revealed that the phone has global, Indian and Japanese variants with model numbers 2411DRN47G, 2411DRN47I and 2411DRN47R respectively.

Redmi launched Redmi 13C 5G and Redmi 13R 5G in China in December 2023. Both the phones came with similar specs and design. The Redmi 13R was available in a single configuration, while the Redmi 13C was offered in multiple variants. The TENAA listing of the Redmi 14C 5G suggests that it will be similar to the 14R, which was recently launched in China.
Redmi 14C 5G specifications (expected)
According to the TENAA listing, the Redmi 14C 5G will have a 6.88-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 720×1640 pixels. The phone will have a 2.36GHz octa-core processor and a 5060mAh (rated value) battery. Given that the 14C 5G could be a rebadged version of the 14R, it could feature a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 and a 5160mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

The Redmi 14C 5G will be available in multiple RAM and storage configurations including 4GB, 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM options as well as 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB internal storage. For photography, Redmi 14C 5G will have a 5-megapixel front camera and dual rear camera setup for selfie, which will have a 13-megapixel main camera sensor and a 0.08-megapixel secondary sensor.

Other features of the Redmi 14C 5G include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a microSD card slot, and an IR blaster. It is expected to run on HyperOS based on Android. The dimensions of the phone are 171.88×77.78×8.3 mm and weight is 212.3 grams. Despite the standard side battery, the phone can be a bit thick due to the glass back. As of now, images of the phone have not yet surfaced in TENAA's database, but there are chances that it may look similar to the Redmi 14R.

Poco M7 5G is also in development

Poco is also working on its new 5G phone, which can be launched under the name of Poco M7 5G. Earlier this month, the upcoming Poco M7 5G was spotted in HyperOS source code with model number 24108PCE2I (Indian version). Let us tell you that Poco M6 5G launched in India was a rebranded version of Redmi 13C 5G and 13R 5G. In the above image, the Poco M7, with model number 24108PCE2I, appears in the Indian BIS certification database along with the Redmi 14C 5G, with model number 2411DRN47I. So, it is quite clear that the Poco M7 could be a repackaged version of the Redmi 14R/14C.
