KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan claims to be similar to MS Dhoni

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) owner Shah Rukh Khan compare himself with former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni before the mega auctions of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

On a television show, Shah Rukh Khan stated that legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Chhetri and Roger Federer know when they have to retire. After he stated so, Karan Johar asked SRK about his plans regarding retirement, where he compared himself with MS Dhoni.

“The biggest thing about legends… unki khasiyat ye hoti hai ki legends ko maalum hota hai, when to stop, when to retire. Like the great Sachin Tendulkar, like Sunil Chhetri—the footballer, like Roger Federer—the great tennis star. They all know when to retire, and I think it’s time you did too. So please go back. Thank you very much,” Shah Rukh said.

“By that standard, aur us accon se aap kyun nahi hote,” Johar replied, to which Shah Rukh added, “Actually main doosre ka legendary hoon. Main and Dhoni are legends of sorts. “No matter what, we play IPL 10 times,” he added.
