DMK is a private limited family company, BJP's taunt on making Udhayanidhi the Deputy CM

New Delhi : The DMK government led by Chief Minister MK Stalin in Tamil Nadu has made several major changes in the cabinet. In these changes, Chief Minister's son Udhayanidhi has been made the Deputy Chief Minister of the state, for which BJP has targeted DMK. BJP accused DMK saying that the party is only focused on corruption and the progress of its leadership family. He sarcastically termed DMK as a private limited family company.

This reaction of BJP has come when Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi today administered the oath of office to senior DMK leader V Senthil Balaji as minister here. Balaji had got bail from the Supreme Court a few days ago in a money laundering case. Apart from this, three other DMK MLAs R Rajendran, Govi Chezhiyan and SM Nassar also took the oath of office and secrecy at the ceremony held at Raj Bhavan. On this occasion, CM's son Udhayanidhi was also present, who has been made the Deputy Chief Minister.

Told DMK as private limited family company

Regarding this cabinet reshuffle, BJP's national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala said, one thing is clear from this that this party belongs to the family, for the family and by the family. It is a private limited family company. So first the father, then the son and then the grandson… and this cycle continues. Poonawalla also targeted Congress, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Samajwadi Party (SP) and other constituents of the opposition alliance 'India'. He alleged that all these parties also only worry about the family of their leadership.

Accused all parties of family politics

The BJP spokesperson further made the allegation and said, the entire Indi alliance is like DMK. Corruption and family are the two pillars of these parties. For them, family comes first, not country. The BJP spokesperson put all the parties in the dock, accusing them of promoting nepotism in politics, where former Congress president Sonia Gandhi, RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee, NCP (SP)'s Sharad While Pawar and DMK chief Stalin want their sons and daughters to move ahead, late SP leader Mulayam Singh Yadav also wanted his son Akhilesh Yadav to move ahead. He said that these people are only concerned about the advancement of their children and not about the sons and daughters of India. Poonawala said, it is only Prime Minister Narendra Modi who cares about the sons and daughters of the country.
