Sonakshi Sinha opened up recently about working for OTT and theatre releases and said that roles that are offered on OTT are more complex and challenging. She said that there is more room to explore the depths of the characters on OTT.
Speaking of it, Sonakshi shared, “OTT is truly a game-changer at the moment. The roles offered on OTT are more complex, layered, and challenging in ways that commercial films don’t always allow. The big screen is more about entertaining a larger audience, while I feel that OTT offers more room to explore characters in depth, which has really resonated with viewers. I have received so much love for my work on both platforms, and I am just grateful for it. It’s exciting to be part of this digital revolution where content is truly king.”
Sonakshi was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web-series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. She also starred in the horror-comedy Blackwhich released on ZEE5, where she essayed a double role. It also starred Riteish Deshmukh alongside her.
