Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu on Monday said that share in revenue deficit grants and taxes is the state's right.
He said that the Central Government is not doing any favor to the state by releasing funds.
Sukhu was reacting to Union Health Minister JP Nadda's statement in which he had said that Congress cannot run the Himachal Pradesh government even for a day without the support of the Centre.
The Chief Minister said that the Union Minister and the National President of BJP should know that 'we are in a federal system.'
Sukhu told reporters here that such statements do not suit a Union Minister. He said, “The Center receives taxes from the states only and the money given to the states is our right, not a dole.”
