After a wait of two years, the company is once again preparing to bring Duster back to India. However, meanwhile the company has released the teaser of Renault Bigster based on the Duster model. The Renault Bigster will be a third-row 7-seater variant based on the Duster. Recently Renault's sibling company Dacia has released the teaser of this SUV. It will be officially introduced at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. Let us tell you about the possible design, features and engine of this SUV.

updated design: The new Renault Bigster will see many design updates compared to the Duster. This SUV will be given a long wheelbase. The Renault Bigster SUV will be around 4.6 meters long. It will be 300 mm longer than the 5-seater Duster. In the Indian market, it will compete with cars like Hyundai Alcazar, Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Safari. However, this SUV shares many elements with the Duster. According to the report, it has also been built on the CMF-B platform. Its body panels, seats, dashboard, steering wheel along with some mechanical bits are taken from the Renault Duster. However, despite this, many changes will be seen in the front and rear profile.

New interior: The cabin layout of Bigster will also be changed compared to Duster. It is expected that compared to Duster, new features and dashboard can be seen in it. It is expected that it can be offered with 6 and 7 seater layouts.

Powertrain: NThe Renault Bigster can be had with 1.2-litre turbo or 1.6-litre turbo petrol. However, at the moment it is difficult to say with which engine it will be brought to the Indian market. The new Bigster can be offered with 4×2 and 4×4 driving options.

Like Duster, it can also be given many driving modes. This includes modes like Auto, Snow, Mud/Sand, Off Road and Eco. According to the report, the new generation Renault Duster i.e. Renault Bigster can be launched in the second half of 2025.
