Latest News :- Police have registered a case against a BJP leader who threatened to set fire to minority shops for participating in a love gig. BJP Vice President Lakhpat Bhandari had taken out an awareness and warning rally a few days ago in Srinagar of Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand.

Speaking at that time, he had said, recently a Muslim girl of class 6 was sexually assaulted, so the need arose to hold an awareness rally regarding Love Jihad. This is not the first time. Earlier, a person from a minority community had set a trap on Hindu women through a social networking site in the name of Hindu. Therefore, this event was organized to highlight that parents should be aware to prevent our daughters from getting trapped in such situations.

Let us blind those people who target Hindu girls and try to trap them for love (Love Jihad). We will set fire to the shops of minorities. Police does not take action against those who commit love jihad. Lakhpat Bhandari said this.

Based on an earlier order of the Supreme Court regarding hate speech, the police have voluntarily registered a case against Lakhpat Bhandari under various sections of the Indian Justice Code Act. This information was given by Pauri Garhwal District Superintendent of Police Lokeshwar Singh.
