Life Style: The Sharadiya Navratri festival dedicated to Maa Durga is now coming to an end. Nine different forms of the Goddess are worshiped in this nine-day festival and the festival ends with Kanya Puja, which is held on the days of Ashtami and Navami. This girl worship has special significance in Navratri. It is said that Navratri puja and fast are considered successful only when the girl prays. If you do not find any small girl to participate in Kanya Puja then you can go to the temple and perform Kanya Puja. You often see poor and needy people near temples. Mata Rani's Prasad can be distributed among these people. Try to complete Kanya Puja by feeding poor children well and giving them gifts.
The rule is that only younger girls are allowed to participate in Kanya Puja, but if for some reason you are not able to get a younger girl, then you can also perform the puja with the lady of the house. Goddess resides in every woman. This could be your mother, wife, daughter or other relatives. When you love your little girls, you love the women in your house too. Then you will get the same results as worshiping a girl.
Most of the young girls live nearby but cannot come often because they have to go to school. In such a situation, you can also go to their house and give Prasad. Keep all the prasad and donations in a plate and feed it to the girl at home. Apart from this, sometimes it also happens that the girl is not found at the right time. In such a situation, you can make dry Prasad which will not spoil quickly. From now on, if you meet a girl, give her this prasad.
In Kanya Puja we often focus on the neighborhood children. A maximum of children from certain families are invited to this festival. However, you can also invite children of people who work for you to Kanya Puja.
