Government issues red alert for laptop users! If you open this browser even by mistake, it will cause huge loss.

Tech News Desk – Keeping cyber security in mind, the Government of India has issued a security warning for Microsoft Edge users. This warning has been issued this week. This security problem is seen in Chrome based Microsoft browser. CERT-In has given a bad rating regarding this. The security agency has claimed that many types of problems have been seen in Microsoft web browser and due to this hackers can access the data. According to the CERT-In bulletin of October 7, 2024, such problems are seen in Microsoft Edge.

These problems are seen due to lack of data validation. Attackers can take advantage of these vulnerabilities. This problem has been seen due to layout overflow and wrong implementation in V8. With its help, attackers get to see such things. This also helps in removing security flaws. Edge users should be very careful about this now. The warning states that you should be cautious before opening any personal data.

To avoid such problems, you should update your browser immediately. You also get bug fixes with the update. Edge has become very popular this year. This has been seen due to the advent of AI integration. But this helps hackers a lot because they can easily access the data. If your system is working on an old version then it is going to become an easy target for hackers.
