For this reason the actress was kidnapped
Actually both of them heard Meenakshi talking to someone that their family has a lot of wealth. After this he made a plan to kidnap Meenakshi. Both of them kidnapped the actress and demanded a ransom of Rs 1.5 crore and also threatened Meenakshi's mother that if the money was not received, she would be ruined.
However, when both of them did not get the money, they brutally murdered Meenakshi in a hotel in Gorakhpur. His body was hidden in a water tank and his head was thrown out of a Mumbai bus. When the police caught these criminals with the help of a SIM card found from Meenakshi's phone, they confessed to all their crimes.
Sessions Court gave its verdict in 2018
On May 9, 2018, the South Mumbai sessions court convicted both of them. Both were sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder and kidnapping of the actress. This case has shaken not only Meenakshi's family but the entire society.
