Hindustan Aeronautics Limited said in a statement, 'The Union Finance Ministry has approved granting Maharatna status to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Company. The proposal was first proposed by an inter-ministerial committee. The annual turnover of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited is Rs 28,162 crore. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited had reported a net profit of Rs 7,595 crore for the financial year 2023-24. On Monday, October 14, the company's shares closed at Rs 4,508, up 1.39 per cent. On Tuesday (October 15, 2024), the stock was trading 1.67% higher at Rs 4,582.
