New Delhi, 15 October (Hindustan Reporter). Party General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi will be the Congress candidate for the by-election on Wayanad Lok Sabha seat in Kerala. Apart from this, the party has also announced its candidates for the by-elections to be held on two assembly seats.
According to a release issued by Congress Organization General Secretary KC Venugopal, Rahul Mankootattil will be the party candidate from Palakkad seat in Kerala and Ramya Haridas will be the party candidate from Chelakkara – SC seat.
It is noteworthy that today itself the Election Commission has announced by-elections for 48 assembly and two Lok Sabha seats in 15 states.
