UP by-election: BJP can bet on new faces in by-elections, SP has given them a chance

UP by-election: There is increased political activity regarding the by-elections to be held on 10 assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh. The dates of by-elections will be announced after some time. Before this, speculations have started regarding the names of the candidates. It is being told that after the announcement of election date, BJP will announce the names of the candidates. At the same time, SP has announced the names of six candidates.

Let us tell you that in UP, Karhal (Mainpuri), Sisamau (Kanpur), Milkipur (Ayodhya), Katehari (Ambedkar Nagar), Kundarki (Moradabad), Khair (Aligarh), Ghaziabad, Phulpur (Prayagraj), Majhwa (Mirzapur) and Mirapur ( By-elections are to be held in Muzaffarnagar. Sisamau seat has become vacant due to the conviction of SP MLA Irfan Solanki while 9 MLAs have become Lok Sabha members.

BJP will field candidates on these seats
It is being told that BJP will contest elections on 9 assembly seats, while one seat can be given to RLD. If sources are to be believed, BJP has almost finalized the names of its candidates. The names of the candidates will be announced as soon as the election date is announced. At the same time, a meeting was held in Delhi on Sunday, in which it was agreed to give Meerapur seat to RLD. RLD had won from here in 2022 also. Whereas BJP will contest elections on nine seats on its symbol.

SP has bet on PDA
Like the Lok Sabha elections, SP has expressed confidence in the PDA in the by-elections. Along with the announcement of the candidates, SP had also given the slogan – It will be in the name of PDA, united voting. However, SP has given opportunity to wives, sons, daughters or brothers from political families only.
