Sri Madhusoodana said
O Indra accept this shield destroyer of all sorrows It is the source of supreme opulence and the crusher of all enemies.
It was given to Brahma in the past and flooded in the world That which holds the best of the worlds, the law endowed with all opulence.
Because all the Manus became endowed with all opulence The sage is the ritual of this shield which bestows all opulence
The row and the verse are that goddess herself with a lotus garland, O god. The initiation is declared only for the chanting of Siddha-ishwarya.
By wearing this shield the world will be victorious everywhere.
