Back pain is a common problem in youth, but it should not be taken lightly. If it is not treated in time, it can become a serious problem.
Causes of back pain:
- sitting or standing in wrong posture
- lifting heavy weights
- sitting in one position for a long time
- not exercising

Home Remedies:
- Irrigation with hot water: Applying warm water relaxes the muscles and reduces pain.
- Consumption of Ginger: Ginger has anti-inflammatory properties that reduce swelling. You can drink ginger tea or include it in food.
- Turmeric: Turmeric contains curcumin which helps reduce pain and inflammation. You can drink milk by mixing turmeric in it.
- Paracetamol: To reduce pain, you can take paracetamol as per doctor's advice.
- Yoga and Exercise: Doing yoga and exercise strengthens muscles and reduces pain.
- Rest: If you have back pain then you should rest.
- Hot water bath: Bathing with hot water relaxes the muscles and reduces pain.
When to take doctor's advice:
- if the pain is very severe
- have fever with pain
- pain accompanied by weakness
- pain that interferes with movement
Ways to prevent back pain:
- sit and stand with correct posture
- avoid lifting heavy weights
- Exercise regularly
- do stretching
- Do not sit in the same posture for a long time
- sleep on a comfortable bed
