Telangana Inter first year admission 2024-25 last date extended; apply by October 20

New Delhi: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has extended the Telangana board first-year intermediate admission last date for the 2024-25 academic session. The TSBIE Intermediate admission window will now remain open till October 20. Earlier the last date to complete the process was October 15. To complete the admissions process, parents and students need to confirm the affiliation of the selected junior colleges. The list of affiliated colleges is available on the official websites of TSBIE, acadtgbie.cgg.gov.in and tgbie.cgg.gov.in.

The Telangana inter admissions in government and government sector junior colleges can be done without any late fees. However, in private junior colleges, late applications can be done by paying a late fee of Rs 500.

The TSBIE official notice reads, “All the Principals of the Government/Private Aided/Private, Un-Aided/Co-Operative/TG Residential/TG Social Welfare, Residential/TG Tribal Welfare Residential/TG Model/ KGBV/Incentive Junior Colleges and Composite Degree Colleges in Telangana State, who are offering two year Intermediate courseare informed that, the last date for admissions into 1st year Intermediate for the academic year 2024-25 is extended up to 20 -10-2024 with a late fee of Rs 500/- in all Private Junior Colleges and without a late fee in all Government and Government Sector Colleges, as a last chance and there is no further extension.”

Documents required for Telangana Inter first-year admission

For admission to the first-year intermediate programme Telangana, the below documents are required-

  • Class 10 mark sheet and certificate (original and photocopy)
  • Class 12 mark sheet and certificate (original and photocopy)
  • Valid identity proof
  • Recent passport-size photographs
  • Transfer Certificate (TC)
  • Caste certificate (if any)
  • Bonafide Certificate from the last attended school
  • Domicile or residence certificate (if required)
  • Income certificate (for fee concession or scholarship)
  • Migration certificate (for students from boards apart from Telangana)
