Modi government increased MSP on 6 crops including wheat and gram, farmers will become rich
New Delhi. Many important decisions have been taken for farmers in the Union Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday. In today's meeting, a decision was also taken regarding MSP for Rabi marketing season 2025-26 for farmers. Let us tell you that the Central Government has notified MSP for 6 crops in the Rabi marketing season for 2025-26.

MSP of these crops increased
Wheat – Rs 2275 to Rs 2425.
Barley – Rs 1850 to Rs 1980.
Gram – Rs 5440 to Rs 5650.

Lentil – Rs 6425 to Rs 6700.
Rapeseed/Mustard – Rs 5650 to Rs 5950.
Safflower – Rs 5800 to Rs 5940.
Giving information about the decisions taken in the cabinet meeting, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the MSP of crops has been increased by Rs 300 per quintal. At the same time, the margin cost of crops was also increased by 50 percent.
