Seat sharing formula decided in JMM-Congress-RJD-ML, will be announced after Tejashwi's arrival in Ranchi on October 18

Ranchi: Members of India Alliance will contest elections together in Jharkhand Assembly. An agreement has been reached regarding coordination of seats. According to the information available with NewsUpdate, according to the sources, Congress and RJD will contest on less seats as compared to 2019 elections.

According to the information received, Congress will contest on 29 seats, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha on 43 seats, RJD on 5 and MLA on 4 seats. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha had contested only 43 seats in 2019, while Congress had contested 31 seats and RJD had contested 7 seats. Male was not a member of the alliance in 2019 but this time it has been included in the alliance. RJD had contested elections on seven seats in 2019 but could win only Chatra seat. It is believed that Tejashwi Yadav is visiting Ranchi on October 18, after which a formal announcement of seat sharing will be made.
