Today i.e. on Wednesday, on the second day of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO Summit 2024) summit, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will deliver the welcome address at the Jinnah Convention Center in Pakistan and welcome each leader. The event will begin with a group photograph, after which Prime Minister Sharif will deliver the inaugural address.

Who will attend?

Representatives of India, China, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are participating in the summit and the Vice President of Iran and the Prime Minister of Mongolia have also participated. The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan will also participate as special guests.

According to Pakistan's Foreign Ministry, today's session will focus on economic cooperation, trade, environmental issues and socio-cultural issues. The leaders are expected to take important decisions to enhance cooperation among SCO members and approve the organization's budget.
