The police have recovered the mobile phone used in the fraud and other items from him.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Ankit Chauhan said that the accused Kaushik Raj alias Ankit Singh is from Kharba village of Muzaffarpur, Bihar, who lives in Jeevan Park area of ​​Uttam Nagar, Delhi. Diljit Dosanjh's Dil-Luminati India Tour concert is going to start on October 26 from Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. Cases of fraud have come to light across the country, in which the accused, a person named Kaushik Raj, was selling fake tickets.

The victim purchased 69 different class tickets from the accused through e-mail, in return for which Kaushik Raj took Rs 476870 online on September 11. When the victim started checking the tickets through Paytm Insider, the fraud came to light. The victim discovered that all the tickets were fake, so he complained to the police. The victim told his Chandigarh resident friend that Kaushik Raj had sent him five complimentary tickets through e-mail to dupe him, and the fraudster sent the ticket money to his account to the victim.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police formed a team and extracted bank account information. Investigation revealed that the bank account is in the name of Kaushik Raj. When the police searched the location of the accused, they came to know that he was coming to Delhi from Bengaluru. The police caught him at Nizamuddin railway station.

10 lakhs cheated

During interrogation, Kaushik Raj told that to take people into confidence, he first used to send five fake complimentary tickets for the program through e-mail, then after sending the tickets online, he used to transfer the money to the bank account. The accused has so far cheated more than Rs 10 lakh.
