Royal Enfield: Royal Enfield is currently working on several new motorcycles. Details of the Interceptor Bear 650, one of the brand’s newest efforts, have recently been leaked online. It is expected that this new motorcycle will make its debut at EICMA (EICMA Debut). Because of this, there is a lot of enthusiasm among the motorcycle lovers.

Designs and patents

Royal Enfield has not only filed a design patent but also a nameplate patent for the Interceptor Bear 650 in India. The motorcycle may be showcased at the Motoverse unveiling later this year. Due to which its expectation has increased more.

Chassis and suspension features

The chassis of this motorcycle will be mainly shared with the Interceptor 650. However, it has a specially designed suspension system (Showa Suspension) with different springs and tuning, making it more flexible and off-road friendly. It also includes spoke wheels and multi-purpose tires, which ensure better performance on different types of roads.

Lighting system and bodywork design

The LED headlights and turn indicators used in the Interceptor Bear 650 are taken from other 650cc models. The motorcycle is specially equipped with circular LED tail lamps, which are integrated into its turn indicators. Due to which its bodywork has been made more attractive.

Engine specifications and performance

The Interceptor Bear 650 is powered by a 648cc air-oil cooled parallel twin engine, which comes with a 270-degree crankshaft and generates around 47bhp of maximum power and 52Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 6-speed transmission, which gives it a great riding experience.

Single-side exhaust system

It is likely that the Royal Enfield Bear 650 will feature a special sprocket size and a new single-side exhaust system. Due to this, its weight will be reduced compared to its dual exhaust system. This design not only helps in reducing weight but also enhances the road presence of the motorcycle.
