Historic agreement signed between Chhattisgarh and i-Hub Gujarat to promote innovation, CM Sai said – State government is committed to establishing innovation culture in the state.

Raipur. An important Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Technical Education Department of Chhattisgarh and i-Hub Gujarat (Innovation Hub Gujarat) today at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan in the presence of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai described this partnership as a historic step towards encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship.

Chief Minister Sai praised the successful model of i-Hub Gujarat and said that this agreement will usher in a new era towards start-ups and innovation in the state. i-Hub Gujarat has played a vital role in converting ideas, innovations and startups of thousands of youth into commercial products. The Chief Minister expressed his commitment to replicate similar success in Chhattisgarh and said that this partnership will provide the necessary resources, guidance and opportunities to the youth to move forward in the field of innovation.

The Chief Minister said that this agreement not only focuses on technical facilities but will also provide a platform to empower the youth by connecting them with mentors, investors and industry experts. With this partnership, Chhattisgarh will become a leader in the field of innovation and start-ups.

Youth will be able to convert ideas commercially – Vijay Sharma

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said that the youth who come up with new ideas regarding industry and business will be provided with financial resources as well as working and living space, which will enable them to convert their ideas commercially. This organization will assist the youth in signing contracts with companies.

More than 800 patents of youth of Chhattisgarh – Dr. S. Bharathidasan

Dr. S. Bharathidasan, Secretary, Technical and Employment Department, said that through this MOU, efforts will be made to develop an eco-system to develop entrepreneurship among the youth, for this a center will be started in the Government Engineering College. He also informed that the youth of Chhattisgarh have more than 800 patents, 1724 of which were started in Chhattisgarh. The agreement will be for 3 years.

On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, Food Minister Dayal Das Baghel, Forest and Climate Change Minister Kedar Kashyap, Commerce and Industry Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan, Finance Minister O.P. Chaudhary, Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Rajwade, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Tankaram Verma, Secretary to the Chief Minister P. Dayanand, Dr. Basav Raju S, Rahul Bhagat and i-Hub CEO Hiranmoy Mahanta, Chhattisgarh Technical Education Director Dr. Priyanka. Shukla was also present.
