Bradman scored 270 runs in the second innings of a Test match against England in Melbourne on 1 January 1937. Then in the match that started on January 29, he scored 212 runs in the second innings at the Adelaide Cricket Ground. Despite two consecutive double centuries, Bradman did not stop. He scored 169 runs in the first innings of the match which started in Melbourne on 26 February. Then in June 1938, when the Australian team went to England, the match started in Nottingham on 10 June. Bradman scored unbeaten 144 runs in the second innings of this test. This match started on 24 June at Lord's. He scored an unbeaten 102 in this match and then scored 103 in the first innings of the opening match at Leaders on 22 July.
