Bhaichung Bhutia launches new residential football academies in Punjab, Karnataka

New DelhiNew Delhi: Following its partnership with Premier League powerhouse club Southampton FC, India's largest residential football academy, Bhaichung Bhutia Football School (BBFS) has announced the launch of two new campuses – in collaboration with Om Prakash Bansal Modern School in Punjab and In collaboration with Aakash International School in Karnataka.

These new centers mark a significant step forward in BBFS' commitment to providing world-class football education across India, expanding access to aspiring footballers in key areas. The newly opened campus will be one of the first to fully implement BBFS's collaboration with Southampton FC, integrating an advanced coaching curriculum developed by the English club. The collaboration will provide young Indian athletes exposure to global leagues, exclusive training opportunities and expert guidance in both India and the UK, a release said.

Speaking about the launch, Bhaichung Bhutia said, “Our partnership with Southampton FC brings global best practices in football coaching to India.
