Nida Yasir, a Pakistani actress and morning show host, has disclosed the rationale behind her daughter Silah’s lack of social media presence.
Nida Yasir was married into a family of entertainers and has a long history in the entertainment industry.
She married actor, producer, and director Yasir Nawaz in 2002. Together with their daughter Silah, the couple has two boys, Fareed and Balaj. During a recent live event, Nida Yasir talked about her daughter.
A woman in the crowd mentioned that her 15-year-old daughter uses her phone to make reels.
In response, Nida Yasir said, “Yasir doesn’t let my daughter, who is even older than 15, make reels or have a public account.”
She added, “Our family is in the entertainment industry, and people often assume that those in showbiz are very liberal.
However, we have also not given our daughter permission for such things.
It’s up to parents to set boundaries for their children.”
Nida Yasir advised the woman who shared her concerns, saying, “If your daughter isn’t listening to you, then you should talk to your husband about it because such matters should be handled by the father.”
