Ingredients of Churma Laddus

➤1 cup wheat flour
➤1/2 cup semolina
➤3/4 cup ghee
➤1/2 cup milk
➤1 cup sugar powder
➤1/4 cup cashew nuts
➤1/4 cup almonds
➤1/4 cup raisins
➤1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
➤1 pinch saffron (soaked in milk)

Churma Laddus Recipe

➤To make Churma Laddu, add wheat flour and semolina in a big vessel and mix well. Now add ghee to it and mash it well with hands so that the flour absorbs the ghee well.

➤ Add milk little by little to this mixture and knead a stiff dough. The dough should neither be too hard nor too soft. Keep the kneaded dough covered for 10-15 minutes.

➤After this, make the dough into small balls.

➤After this, heat ghee in a pan and fry these balls till they turn golden. Take out the fried balls in a plate and let them cool.

➤Now grind the cooled balls coarsely in the mixer.

➤After this, put ground flour in a pan and fry it on low flame while stirring continuously till it turns golden.

➤Add sugar powder, cashew nuts, almonds, raisins and cardamom powder to the roasted flour and mix well.

➤Now make small laddus from this mixture, if you want, you can also decorate the laddus by dipping them in saffron milk.

➤Fry the balls on low flame until they turn golden. They may burn if fried on too high a flame.
➤Fry the ground flour while stirring continuously so that it does not burn and gets roasted well.
➤Mix the ingredients well so that the taste of laddus is uniform.
➤Make laddus by applying some ghee on your hands so that they do not stick to each other.
