With the latest Android OS update, Google Pixel devices will get a number of privacy and security features, including new anti-theft capabilities. It has an AI-supported theft detection lock and many other security updates.

AI-supported theft detection lock to get your stolen Pixel smartphone back
Android 15 adds AI-supported theft detection lock feature to Pixel devices. This feature will help users to get their stolen phones back. The AI-supported theft detection lock will automatically lock the smartphone if it detects that someone is trying to snatch the phone and run away. Additionally, it will also prevent a thief from removing the SIM card from the phone. With this feature enabled, if someone removes the SIM card from a Pixel phone running Android 15, the device will ask for authentication to access the device. If they fail authentication, the device will automatically lock, rendering it useless.
The update also brings other new features, like low light boost and in-app camera controls, improved network capabilities, including satellite connectivity for messaging on eligible models, and one-tap app login using a passkey. Android 15 List of Pixel smartphones eligible for the update: Pixel 6 series, Pixel 7 series, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 9 series, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, Pixel Fold, and Pixel Tablet.
