Bhopal, 17 October (HS). “Madhya Pradesh Mining Conclave-2024” is being organized by the Madhya Pradesh Government with the aim of encouraging investment in the mining sector and ensuring better utilization of the mineral wealth of the state by incorporating latest technologies. This two-day conclave will start today (Thursday) at Kushabhau Thackeray International Convention Center in Bhopal.

Public Relations Officer KK Joshi said that Chief Secretary Anurag Jain will deliver the keynote address in the conclave and will inaugurate the exhibition focused on the mineral resources of Madhya Pradesh. In the initial session of the conclave, presentations will be made on mineral resources, investment opportunities, prospects of petroleum and hydrocarbon sector. This will be followed by technical sessions on the use of mining safety, smart technology, digitalization, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). Drone technology and digital solutions for mines will also be discussed by the experts. In the strategic sessions, topics like coal, energy, limestone, cement industry, mineral-beneficiation and M-Sand will be discussed.

He told that in the conclave, Union Mining Minister G. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of State S.C. Dubey and Secretary, Union Ministry of Mines, V.L. Kanta Rao, who will provide necessary assistance to the Central Government to encourage the mining sector in the state. More than 600 delegates will participate in this program. It included representatives of major companies like NCL, HCL, NMDC, ONGC, and GAIL and industrialists from other states. Will be.

In the inaugural session, Principal Secretary, Mineral Resources Sanjay Kumar Shukla will deliver the inaugural address on “Madhya Pradesh Mining Conclave 2024”. Dr. Pallavi Jain Govil, Director General of Hydrocarbons, Government of India, will discuss the prospects of the petroleum and hydrocarbon sector. Rajib Maitra, Partner, Deloitte will present on the utilization of mineral potential in Madhya Pradesh.

In the technical sessions, Vikram KY of IIT Hyderabad will discuss smart technology and mine safety. The use of digitalization, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in the mining sector will be discussed. There will be important presentations from experts on drone technology, remote monitoring, opportunities for start-ups in mining technology and digital solutions for opencast and underground mines.

The strategic and technical sessions will have detailed discussions on important topics like Coal and Energy, Limestone and Cement Industry, Mineral Beneficiation and M-Sand and Ready-Mix Concrete. Information will also be provided on state government initiatives and important mineral exploration scenarios in India.
