Our effort will be to fight together in Maharashtra with INDIA alliance: Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow. Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav paid tribute to Maharishi Valmiki ji on his birth anniversary by garlanding his statue on Thursday. While talking to the media, he said, today on the day of Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti, taking inspiration from him, we all take a pledge that discrimination in the society should be eliminated from time to time.

In honor of Netaji, Samajwadi Party had observed a holiday on Valmiki Jayanti. The facilities and respect that Valmiki Samaj should get are not being provided in this government. Bharatiya Janata Party has no respite from spreading hatred in the society, now is the time for them to go.

During this, he also discussed SP's participation in Maharashtra Assembly elections. Akhilesh Yadav said, our effort is that the India alliance should fight together there. We hope that where we had two MLAs, they will give us more seats and we will stand with the INDIA alliance with full strength.

Let us tell you that Maharashtra Assembly elections have been announced. Voting will take place in Maharashtra in one phase. Political excitement has increased regarding this. In the assembly elections held in Haryana, Congress did not give even a single seat to SP, whereas in Maharashtra, SP had two MLAs, hence speculations are being made that SP will participate there.
