BARC’s 41st week TRP list has arrived and this TRP rating has given a new hope to the makers who are worried about the future of reality shows. Salman Khan, who entered TV with season 18 of ‘Bigg Boss’ after a break of 9 months, has directly completed the work of Rupali Ganguly’s Anupama. The TRP of the opening episode of ‘Bigg Boss’ is 2.3 and this week’s rating of Anupama is also 2.3. The only difference is that Salman has hit 6 on the first ball itself, that is, achieved this rating in just one day, whereas ‘Anupama’ had to play the entire over (here 6 days) to score 6 runs.

Along with leaving ‘Anupama’ behind, Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss’ has done another wonders. This show of Colors TV has become the number one reality show, leaving behind Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ and Karisma Kapoor’s ‘India’s Best Dancer’. The average TRP of ‘Bigg Boss’ episodes going on air every day i.e. week days is currently 1.5. Whereas the rating of Salman’s episode is 2.3. TRP of ‘Bigg Boss’ comes in two ways. One of Salman’s episode and one of weekdays. Talking about other reality shows, the rating of Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ is currently 0.8 while the rating of Karisma Kapoor’s ‘India’s Best Dancer’ is 0.7. Apart from these two shows, despite having many giants in the world of music, Zee TV’s ‘Saregama’ has the lowest rating i.e. only 0.6.

After ‘Anupama’ and ‘Bigg Boss’, ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ is in third place with a rating of 2.15. So the recently started Star Plus serial ‘Udne Ki Asha’ has jumped straight to number 3 with a rating of 2.10. With a rating of 2, ‘Advocate Anjali Awasthi’ is at number 4, while with a rating of 1.9, ‘Jhanak’ has taken the 5th position in this report card.
