“Australia can’t beat India on the field so they are mocking the team on social media”: Aakash Chopra roasts CA for their post on social media

India were bowled out for 46 runs in their first innings of the opening Test against New Zealand in Bengaluru. Cricket Australia took to X to mock the Rohit Sharma-led team and also wrote about the team’s total of 36, which happened in the Adelaide game in 2021. However, the visitors had bounced back and went on to win the series 2-1.

Aakash Chopra spoke about CA’s behaviour and highlighted that the BCCI didn’t say anything about the sandpaper gate scandal or Steve Smith’s brain fade moment in Bengaluru.

“BCCI has never done that. It is not pleasing to see that a Cricket Board is mocking a rival team. They can’t beat India on the field so that’s why they thought it is better to take to social media to settle the scores. They haven’t won a Test series against us for a decade and their players are saying that they didn’t remember when Australia won the series against India,” Aakash Chopra said on Jio Cinema.

Aakash then urged Anil Kumble to share his viewpoint. “I would say that you should ignore their trolling. Don’t given them importance as it is better if you speak less when it comes to such talks. When you play in Australia, you don’t compete against eleven 11 players as the entire country turns against you,” Anil Kumble said.

Ajay Jadeja took a positive out of CA’s statement. “Let’s take it positively. They know what India did with them after getting out on 36 in one of the Test matches. Even they are afraid of the Indian team,” he said.
