Union Minister Gadkari gave a gift of Rs 3589 crore to MP, Bhopal Kanpur Economic Corridor will be upgraded to four lane

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has announced the upgrade of Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal-Kanpur Economic Corridor to 4-lane. Under this project, Rs 3589.4 crore has been sanctioned for Bhopal to Vidisha, Vidisha to Gyaraspur, Sataighat to Chowka and Chowka to Kaimah packages. Apart from this, approval of Rs 592 crore has also been given for Mandla-Nainpur road. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for gifting the path of development to Madhya Pradesh.

The announcement was made in the resolution letter

Madhya Pradesh government had announced Bundelkhand development path in its resolution letter. This 4-lane road project is an important link connecting the state capital Bhopal with Sagar and Chhatarpur districts of Bundelkhand. The project aims to provide better connectivity from Bhopal to Chhatarpur and Uttar Pradesh border via Sagar. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) was already in the process of upgrading this route to 4-lane, but approval for some stretches is pending. Was pending. In a meeting held in New Delhi today, approval has been given to upgrade this route from Bhopal to Sagar and Chhatarpur to Uttar Pradesh border to 4-lane.

The total cost of this project has been fixed at Rs 3589.4 crore. With this approval, the construction work of Bundelkhand Vikas Path can be completed quickly and will help in achieving the resolution of the government. Along with this, Rs 592 crore has also been approved to upgrade the 46 km long route from Mandla to Nainpur, which will make the traffic system of this area more safe and convenient.
