Pm Modi: PM Narendra Modi will visit Russia, will attend BRICS summit

New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Russia to attend the BRICS summit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the BRICS summit on October 22-23 at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This BRICS summit is being organized in Kazan, Russia. During this tour, PM Modi can hold bilateral meetings with BRICS member countries. PM Modi had already visited Russia in July also.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited Russia on July 8. He had reached Russia at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin to hold the 22nd India-Russia Annual Summit. During this, PM Modi held talks with Putin, during which entire aspects of bilateral relations including trade and defense deals were discussed. During his visit, PM Modi was also awarded Russia's highest civilian honour, the Order of St Andrew the Apostle.
