Double attack in Delhi, water along with air is poisonous, Yamuna filled with white foam, after watching the video, people targeted Arvind Kejriwal.

With the onset of winter, both air and water have started getting polluted in the country's capital Delhi. Delhi's air is becoming polluted and is making breathing difficult, while foam has started floating in Yamuna. Due to good rains in August, the level of oxygen and fecal coliform in Yamuna has increased more than before, due to which the level of feces in Yamuna has increased, which can be dangerous for the worshipers during Chhath, according to DPCC. The report states.

Just before the assembly elections, BJP has also taken out an old video of Arvind Kejriwal, in which the Chief Minister had promised that the Yamuna will be cleaned and he himself will take a dip in it, even if it does not happen, he will not be voted out. .

BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari also shared a part of Kejriwal's speech and said, 'When is Arvind Kejriwal coming to take a dip in Yamuna? AAP has made Delhi worse. Delhi BJP leader Vijay Goel, while showing the video of Yamuna covered with foam, said, “Now even the public is saying – drive away Kejriwal, save Delhi. The Arvind Kejriwal government had promised in 2015 that it would clean the Yamuna, but all these years they have been fooling the public with just press conferences and the same worn-out PT script and on the other hand, instead of the Yamuna being cleaned, it has become dirtier.

Yamuna becomes poisonous before Chhath

A horrifying video of Yamuna has surfaced, in which only foam is spread in the river, which is covered with snow, it seems that there is less water in the river and more foam. The video is from Kalindi Kunj area, which comes from the west of the sewage treatment plant falling into Yamuna. A major reason for this white foam is the chemical waste released from small and big factories, which falls into Yamuna through drains. There is a thin black layer on top of this foam, which is the biggest cause of cancer and lung disease.

Despite Yamuna being so polluted, people still take bath in that dirty water on Chhath. The government spends crores of rupees every year to clean Yamuna, but this money is probably spent on paper, hence its effect is not visible in the water of Yamuna. In the month of September, Delhi Pollution Control Committee took water samples from all the places of Yamuna. The test report of the sample sent for testing revealed shocking results.

AQI level has increased rapidly in the last few days in Delhi. AQI is above 300 in some areas in Delhi-NCR. As the level of air pollution increases in Delhi-NCR, people start worrying about their health. Talking about the latest data, on October 18, the average AQI of Delhi was measured at 293, which falls in the poor category, but very close.
