A very shocking case has come to light from Gorakhpur in UP, knowing which you will be surprised. Actually, according to the police, a class 11 student, aged 16, turned out to be a dealer in child pornography.

Uttar Pradesh Police on Thursday arrested a 17-year-old boy for selling over 4,000 child pornography videos online. Officials said the accused, who earned 30 per cent commission on each sale, had received the videos from a supplier named “Raj” through Telegram.

He said that the matter came to light when the Cyber ​​Police Department in Gorakhpur received information from a voluntary organization. He said that a police team started investigation and after arresting the accused on Thursday, seized his mobile phone.

Senior Superintendent of Police Gaurav Grover said that during interrogation, the teenager admitted to using Necogram mobile application and Telegram to distribute the video.

The SSP said, “The accused used to charge customers up to Rs 3,000 per video, with some videos costing up to Rs 20,000. After receiving the payment, he would send most of the money to his supplier 'Raj'.”

Grover said that an FIR has been registered against the minor under relevant sections of criminal laws. He said the cyber police is trying to identify other persons involved in the child porn distribution network of the accused.
