Amidst threats, Salman started shooting 3 hours late, security tight on the sets of Bigg Boss 18, 60 guards deployed

Salman Khan: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has started shooting for the reality show Bigg Boss 18 amid security threats. Late Thursday night, Salman Khan reached the set of the show with tight security. Despite the latest threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Salman Khan did not let his work get affected and continued with his hosting duties.

Security is tight at the station regarding Salman's safety. More than 60 security personnel have been deployed on the sets of Bigg Boss 18. Salman's team along with the production team and the channel have taken strict measures to ensure his safety.

Shooting amid tight security

Salman Khan started shooting for Bigg Boss 18 at 7 pm on Thursday, although he usually reaches the sets at 4 pm. This time the reason for him starting shooting late was that no film was being promoted this week. Due to security reasons, Salman stayed in his bungalow before the scheduled call time and took stock of the security.

Security arrangements on set

A team of more than 60 security personnel has been deployed to ensure smooth functioning of every movement of Salman Khan on the set. No outsider is being allowed to enter the premises without Aadhaar card verification at the entry gate. The crew present on the set has also been instructed to remain at the site till the shooting is over.

Increased security after threats

Salman Khan's security has been increased due to fresh threats from Lawrence Bishnoi gang. A demand of Rs 5 crore was sent to the Mumbai Traffic Police through a WhatsApp message, in which Salman was threatened that if he did not pay the amount, his fate would be worse than that of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui. Police have started investigating this matter.

Security increased after the murder of Baba Siddiqui

Salman Khan has been provided Y-Plus security, in which he is also accompanied by a police escort vehicle. A trained constable is deployed in this escort, who can use weapons in any emergency. After the murder of Baba Siddiqui, these strict steps have been taken regarding the security of Salman.
