New Delhi : Elon Musk's SpaceX has recently set a new record. Its Starship rocket flew into space and landed safely. An Indian name is also included among those who made this record, whose name is Sanjeev Sharma. According to Sanjeev Sharma's LinkedIn profile, his career started with Indian Railways and he is currently working with SpaceX. His career has been very interesting and inspiring. Sanjeev Sharma completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Roorkee and then started working as a Mechanical Engineer in Indian Railways.

Sanjeev Sharma had a good job with the Indian Railways, but to further his education, he left his government job and moved to the US, where he enrolled in a one-year master's degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder. In fact, after completing his studies in 2003, Sanjeev Sharma worked for data storage company Segate Technology. In 2008, while working in the same company, Sanjeev Sharma obtained a master's degree in Technology Management from the University of Minnesota.

Joined SpaceX in 2013
Sanjeev Sharma first joined SpaceX in 2013 as a Dynamics Engineer. He stayed here till 2018. He then moved to Matternet Inc. And then he stayed here till 2022.
