Jio's Made in India budget phone JioBharat V3 is available for purchase at just Rs 1099, know the features

JioBharat V3 4G feature phone is available for purchase two days after its debut at the 2024 India Mobile Congress. Jio didn't reveal the exact date of availability when it was announced and showcased – it only said that it would be coming soon.

On Amazon, JioBharat V3 4G is now listed for purchase at a price of Rs 1,099. The listing also confirms key specs and features including screen size and operating system. JioBharat V3 has a 1.8-inch display and runs on ThreadX RTOS and not KaiOS for some reason. For those who don't know, ThreadX is a rebranded version of Azure RTOS. It is a product of Microsoft (whereas KaiOS is a part of FirefoxOS). The phone is being manufactured in India by Padgett Electronics Pvt. Ltd.

JioBharat V3 4G packs a 1,000mAh battery and supports storage expansion of up to 128GB. It is a single-SIM phone which is linked to Jio SIM. Actually, Jio has special JioBharat plans whose price starts from Rs 123.

Features of JioBharat V3

JioBharat V3 comes with a number of pre-installed Jio apps and services, including Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Pay, and Jio Chat. It can understand 23 Indian languages. The package includes a rear-facing camera (unspecified resolution), LED flashlight, and 3.5mm audio jack.
