On Friday, Salman Khan returned to hosting Bigg Boss 18 to film the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode. The teaser for the same went viral online, marking the superstar’s first public appearance after the demise of political leader and close friend Baba Siddique.

Salman Khan’s crew has been working closely with the channel and production to make it easier for him to move around the set despite increased security. According to a source close to India Today, stringent precautions have been put in place to protect the area, and the actor would be filming with over 60 security guards on the set. No outsider is allowed to access the compound without valid Aadhar card verification.

Salman Khan appeared less energized than normal in the teaser as he reprimanded last week’s mistaken contestants. He confronted Avinash about his misbehaviour and inquired about his parents’ opinions of him. Recently on the show, he got into a heated argument with Chum Darang and allegedly made racist remarks against her.

He went on to mention that Arfeen Khan doesn’t pay attention to anyone in the house. Salman mockingly remarked that Arfeen was superior to everyone in the house, even Salman when Arfee acknowledged that he wasn’t.

Salman Khan was given Y-plus protection following the murder of Baba Siddique, and a police escort car now drives next his car, accompanied by a constable who is trained to use all weapons.
