To make Shahi Tukda, first take white or brown bread. Cut the edges of the bread and cut it into triangles or squares. Add 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water in a pan and heat it. Cook it until 1 string syrup is formed. Add 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder to the syrup for aroma.

After this, put desi ghee in a pan and heat it. When the ghee becomes hot, add bread pieces one by one and fry on high flame till it becomes golden. Take out the fried pieces on a paper napkin. Dip the bread in the syrup. When the syrup cools down slightly, add the fried Shahi pieces in it.

Dip them well in the syrup and take them out in a plate. Apply rabri, milkmaid or malai on shahi tukdi. Then garnish it with chopped pistachios and almonds. Keep it in the fridge to cool for a while. Delicious shahi crumb is ready. Everyone, both children and adults, will like this very much.
