Vivo's new foldable phone can come with 6500mAh battery, revealed by leak

But now another piece of information has emerged about Vivo, specifically about their upcoming foldable phone, the Vivo X Fold 4, which has been spotted on the TENAA certification website.

According to a report, this will be a book style foldable phone with the largest battery ever. Let's take a look at the leaked details…

Actually, 91Mobiles reported in its report that a new Vivo phone registered as model number V2429A has been spotted on the TENAA certification website, which could be Vivo X Fold 4. The publication notes that not much detail has been shared on the certification site, but we were able to extract battery details from the code, where the capacity is listed as “batteryRatedCapacityIn”: “6365mAh”.

This suggests that the upcoming foldable could have a battery rating of around 6500mAh, which would be the largest in any foldable device so far. Let us tell you that Vivo X Fold 3 smartphone had a 5500mAh battery.

What else is special in Vivo X Fold 4 (potential)

The increased battery size means that the thickness of the phone may also increase slightly, so it will be interesting to see how Vivo manages this challenge.

The certification also mentions that the phone will have satellite navigation (GLONASS), dual 5G SIM support, and will work on Android 15.

The upcoming foldable phone may feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, given that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset was used in the X Fold 3.
