IND vs NZ 1st Test: The first match of the three-match Test series between the Indian national cricket team and the New Zealand national cricket team started on 16 October (Wednesday) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. On the fourth day, Team India scored 231 runs losing three wickets in 49 overs. Earlier, on the third day, the entire New Zealand team was out for 402 runs in 91.3 overs, in which Rachin scored 134 runs and Tim Saudi scored 65 runs.

On the second day, Team India's first innings was reduced to 46 runs in just 31.2 overs, leaving it behind by 356 runs. In the second innings, Team India has added 344 runs for 3 wickets in 71 overs. Indian batsmen Sarfaraz Khan and Rishabh Pant played brilliantly. Sarfaraz scored his first Test century, while Pant completed his 12th Test half-century. India is now just 12 runs behind, but rain has again affected the game.
