The virus has also been confirmed in a girl from Lakki Marwat area of ​​Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This year, polio cases in Pakistan have increased to 37. Of these, 20 cases have been found in Balochistan alone, 10 in Sindh, five in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and one each in Punjab and Islamabad. According to the report of the World Health Organization, cases of polio infection are being found only in Pakistan and Afghanistan in the world.
