Bomb threats being received by Indian flights have a connection with Canada! More than 10 flights were targeted in the last 24 hours

New Delhi: Ever since the recent dispute between India and Canada, bomb threats have started being received against Indian flights. Canada is definitely behind this. This angle cannot be ignored. In the last 24 hours, more than 10 planes have received bomb threats. In this way, 70 fake calls have been received in a week.

Flights were diverted after receiving the threat. Five flights each of Indigo and Akasa received threats. While three Vistara aircraft and one Air India Express flight were also targeted. These threats are being linked to the Canada controversy.

Brahma Chellani, an expert on India's foreign policy, said through a social media post that false news of bomb threats against Indian flights continued for the sixth consecutive day, disrupting air travel and causing losses to airlines. The deadly bombing of an Air India plane by Canadian Sikh terrorists in 1985 brought back painful memories.

Threats came from IP addresses of UK and Germany

Chellaney further wrote in the post, “The bomb threats, which began soon after Canada made new allegations that India is targeting Canadian Sikh terrorists. According to news reports, the attacks largely came from IP addresses in the UK and Germany. Since last night, such threats have affected several Indian flights, including a London-bound flight that had to make an emergency landing in Germany.

What is the dispute between Canada and India?

The dispute started with the murder of Canadian citizen Hardeep Singh Nijjar last year, in which Canada publicly questioned India's role.
