Information about this Staurikosaurus dinosaur is found that in 1936, paleontologist Llewellyn Ivor Prince discovered a remarkable fossil specimen in the Santa Maria Formation of southern Brazil. He said that the remains of this dinosaur were found. That discovery, which scientists later identified as Staurikosaurus, has become a cornerstone in our understanding of dinosaur evolution.
