Infinix Zero Flip 5G has been launched in a single variant with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage, which is priced at Rs 49,999. Whereas the price of single 8GB + 256GB variant of Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G is Rs 52,999.
As you can see, Infinix Zero Flip 5G and Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G get the same 8GB of RAM but Infinix's phone has double the storage.

However, you can buy Infinix Zero Flip at an effective price of Rs 44,999 by taking advantage of the bank offer. On the other hand, there is no major bank offer on Tecno Phantom V Flip, but Amazon is offering a coupon discount of Rs 25,000 on this phone, if availed of, its effective price will be Rs 27,999. This is a limited period offer.

Design

  • Infinix Zero Flip 5G comes in Rock Black and Violet Garden color options. When unfolded, its dimensions are 179.75×73.4×7.64 mm and when folded, it measures 87.49×73.4×16.04 mm. The phone weighs 195 grams. There is no IP rating, that is, the phone is not certified for dust and water resistant.
  • Techno Phantom V Flip 5G can be purchased in Mystic Dawn and Iconic Black color. When unfolded, its dimension becomes 171.72×74.05×6.95 mm and when folded, its dimension becomes 88.77×74.05×14.95 mm. The phone weighs 194 grams. It also does not come with any IP rating.

Both the phones look similar but the Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G is thinner and lighter than the latest Infinix Zero Flip 5G, hence, it may be a better option for many people.

  • The Infinix Zero Flip 5G features a 6.9-inch Flexible AMOLED with LTPO panel. The display offers 1080×2640 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, 1,400 nits peak brightness, and UTG protection. The cover display features a 3.6-inch AMOLED panel with 1056×1066 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1100 nits brightness. The cover display has the protection of Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
  • Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G features a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ screen resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The screen offers a peak brightness of 1000 nits but does not have a protective layer. The cover display features a 1.32-inch AMOLED panel with 800 nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

It can be seen here that Infinix Zero Flip 5G is ahead in terms of display. With a protective layer, large cover display, and bright inner display, the Infinix Zero Flip 5G wins in the display department. The cover display is not only huge, but it also has high brightness, the latest Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Additionally, the Infinix Cover Display has a more traditional form factor compared to the circular display of the Tecno Phantom V Flip. This means that users can access more than 100 optimized apps on the Infinix Zero Flip 5G.

  • The Infinix Zero Flip 5G is powered by a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset, which comes with Mali-G77 MP9 GPU. The processor has 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 8GB extended RAM, and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
  • Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G has a slightly more powerful 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 8050 processor with Mali-G77 MP9 GPU. The smartphone packs a fast 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and a limited 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage without extended RAM.

There is very little difference in the performance of both the processors, but the Infinix Zero Flip 5G wins with twice the internal storage. Additionally, Extended RAM allows users to use the 8GB onboard storage as additional RAM when needed.

  • Infinix Zero Flip 5G comes with XOS 14 based on Android 14. The phone is eligible for two OS updates and three years of security patches. With Infinix AI Suite, many AI features are available in the phone.
  • Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G runs on HIOS 13.5 based on Android 13. The brand has assured two years of OS and three security updates. The device is equipped with Ella 3.0 GPT for AI features.

Both the phones have a similar software update policy, but Infinix Zero Flip 5G is the better of the two as it comes with Android 14 which means it will get support up to Android 16. On the other hand, Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G will only get support up to Android 15.

  • Infinix Zero Flip 5G has a 50-megapixel OIS primary lens and a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera. The main display houses a 50-megapixel selfie camera with PDAF.
  • Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G also has a dual camera setup, with a 64-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel ultrawide-angle lens. There is a 32 megapixel selfie camera inside the phone.

Infinix Zero Flip 5G can be purchased at an effective price of Rs 44,999 after availing Rs 5,000 back offer. This phone is better than Techno in almost every aspect. It gets a brighter primary display, a larger and more useful cover display, more storage, better cameras and a bigger battery.

The actual price of Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G of Rs 52,999 is definitely higher than that of Infinix but the phone is getting a coupon discount of Rs 25,000 as part of the Amazon Great Indian Festival Sale. Once the coupon is claimed, the effective price of the phone comes down to Rs 27,999, making it much more affordable than Infinix.

If you do not want to compromise on the features then it would be better to go for Infinix Zero Flip 5G but if you want to save money, then you can go for Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G and enjoy the flip fold phone at a lower price.
