Ranchi: BJP has released its first list for the assembly elections. 66 candidates have been announced in this list. After the release of BJP candidate list, former MLA Maneka Sardar has resigned from the party.

BJP has nominated Meira Munda, wife of former Chief Minister Arjun Munda, as its candidate in place of Maneka Sardar, who was the MLA from Potka. After being denied ticket from Potka Assembly constituency, Maneka Sardar has sent her resignation to State President Babulal Marandi.
