Virgin River Season 6 OTT release date: The sixth season of Sue Tenney’s romantic drama titled Virgin River is all set to treat the fans on Netflix this winter season.
Featuring Martin Henderson and Alexandra Breckenridge reprising their roles from the show’s first season, the much-awaited series will mark its return on the digital screens with brand new episodes from December 13th, 2024 onwards, allowing the viewers to enjoy it right from the comfort of their homes.
About Virgin River’s previous seasons
With the premiere of its season 1’st first episode in December 2019, Virgin River has been garnering massive acclaim from the fans who have made its every season a major hit on the OTT platform.
While the first three seasons of the romantic entertainer featured 10 episodes, its 4th & 5th seasons comprise a total of 12 episodes each which in itself, is a huge indicator of the show’s increasing hype amongst the fans. However, as per the initial reports, the upcoming 6th season of the web series is expected to have 10 episodes once again.
Plot of the Web series
Inspired by Robyn Carr’s acclaimed novel series with the same name, Virgin River’s 6th edition will finally feature Jack Sheridan and Mel Monroe’s eagerly-awaited wedding seeing the day of light.
Additionally, the upcoming season will see Mel finding out that the biological father of her & her sister is not the same as she was conceived by her mother with a stranger with whom she once had an affair in the Virgin River.
How Mel embarks on a journey to find out her real dad & how the latter reacts to his union with his long-lost daughter will also be seen in the series.

In its cast, Virgin River season 6 features Martin Henderson, Alexandra Breckenridge, Colin Lawrence, Tim Matheson, Jenny Cooper, Zibbie Allen, Benjamin Hollingsworth, and Annette O’Toole amongst others in key roles. Ian Hay, Sally Dixon and Jackson Snider have produced the Television series under the banner of Reel World Management.
