Panchkula: School bus full of children fell into a ditch…15 injured, students were going to visit Morni Hills from Punjab.

Chandigarh: A school bus has become a victim of an accident in Panchkula, Haryana. According to the information, the bus full of school children was going from Punjab to Morni Hills. The bus reached Panchukala in the afternoon, when it went out of control and fell into a ditch. About 15 children are said to be injured in the accident. The driver's leg is fractured.

After receiving the information, Haryana Police reached the spot and got all the injured admitted to the hospital located in Panchkula Sector-6. Apart from this, the seriously injured bus driver has been referred to Chandigarh PGI. However, it is not yet known how the bus went into the ditch. It is being investigated by police officers.

The driver could not control the bus

The children are from Nankana Sahib School, Malerkotla in Punjab. All the children were going on a tour to Morni Hills in the school bus. The speed of the bus was very high near Thal village on Tikkar Tal Road, due to which the driver could not control the bus and the bus went into the ditch.

Villagers rescued children

However, it was fortunate that at the time of the accident, people nearby reached the spot after hearing the children screaming. The villagers bravely took out all the injured from the bus that had fallen into the ditch and brought it to the road. After this police and ambulance reached the spot. The children were then taken to the hospital.

After receiving information about the accident, ACP Ashish Kumar also reached the hospital to inquire about the condition of the injured. After talking to the doctor, he told that the cleaner was having a lot of problems and was also suffering from body pain. Apart from this, the driver has suffered serious injuries. Both his legs are fractured, but the children are not seriously injured. All the children are safe.
